Funded Project: HEIR 4.0
The Project “Smart Irrigation Tool 4.0” (HEIR 4.0) has the aim of developing an AI algorithm-based model (Machine Learning, more precisely) that together with digital tools (remote-control irrigation, cropping and ambient sensors) will allow to obtain results able to model the irrigation necessities of a number of crops that are cultivated in the Mediterranean basin.
The project is developed in the framework of the IX Proof-Concept call of the University of Burgos, within the University-Enterprise Knowledge-Transfer Plan (TCUE), cofunded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Castile y Leon Council. The proposal has been funded with 10.000 € and has started its activities in April 2022.
