The University of Burgos (UBU) is a public university focused on internationalization and excellence in teaching that, in just 25 years, has become a reference in Spanish university research and knowledge transfer to industry, being distinguished by the Ministry of Education as Campus of International Excellence (CEI).
Its educational offer consists of 24 degrees, 8 double degrees, 26 master’s degrees, 11 doctoral programs and 20 own degrees. With 76 Research Groups in Sciences, Social Sciences, Engineering and Construction, Art and Humanities and Health Sciences, it occupies outstanding positions in research and transparency rankings.
UBU is partner and coordinator in many research projects, funded by both national and international organizations. In the latter ones, it is worth highlighting that it participates in 8 European research and innovation programs, being a regional leader in some of them. Additionally, It is strongly committed to knowledge transfer, supporting many organizations, both public and private.
It is a member of DIH-LEAF since its foundation, as a knowledge center, contributing its research and knowledge transfer capabilities.
